The Chapel at Seaside Honors the Class of 2020 on Friday, May 15
To say congratulations and bless the senior Class of 2020 around the world—be they high school, college, or even middle school graduates—The Chapel at Seaside is hosting a livestream commencement ceremony and celebration on Friday, May 15 beginning at 3:16 p.m. Central Time.
Dan Vander Woude, the area director of Young Life South Walton, will be delivering the commencement address. The Chapel of Seaside’s own Pastor Gary Wingo will be hosting the event, and music will be provided by Jeff and Betty Nichols.
Vander Woude says he looks forward to sharing Young Life’s heart for high school and college graduates during this unique period of transition, as so many classes, commencement ceremonies, rites of passage for seniors, and other celebrations were canceled due to the spread of COVID-19.
This ‘virtual’ graduation will be livestreamed on Facebook and Vimeo, and the video will be available for viewing after the event. Everyone is welcome to watch live and help us celebrate our Class of 2020 graduations near and far!
About Young Life South Walton
Started in 1941, Young Life now reaches over two million adolescents in all 50 states and over 100 countries—including here in South Walton, Florida. Young Life staff and volunteer leaders do not wait for kids to come to them; they daily enter the world of area youth, crossing the invisible line that divides the world of adults and the world of kids, extending a hand of friendship, and holding out the hope found in Jesus. We are excited to get to know the middle school and high school kids in South Walton.
