How do I give?
There are a few options for you to partner with us through giving financially. You can put a check or cash in the offering plate on Sunday morning. You can mail a check to our PO Box 4936, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. You can also give online through our giving portal, Church Center. When you give with a check or through Church Center, you can keep track of your giving and also access year end documents for taxes.
Where does my money go?
The Chapel at Seaside is its own nonprofit church. When you give to the ministry of The Chapel it goes to cover several aspects of a local community of faith. The internal ministry efforts (discipleship, kids, worship, and more), external ministry/mission and outreach efforts (partnerships with other nonprofits and ministries who work to proclaim good news through word and actions), administrative (operational expenses for office and business needs, etc),and building and venue (maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds for worship and as a wedding venue). We currently give approximately 25% away to support local mission and outreach efforts.
Is my giving tax deductible?
Can I set up automatic giving?
Yes. Through our giving portal you can set up a certain amount to be deducted from an account every month to support the work we do. You also have the ability to give extra to cover our processing fees.
Should I give?
The choice is yours if you choose to give to the ministry of The Chapel at Seaside. We believe that throughout both the Old and New Testament there are examples of people giving what they have to the ministry of God. If you have a local church you are already supporting, that is great. If you choose to make The Chapel one of the places you support, that is also great.
Can I give to specific areas?
We occasionally have times when you can specifically give to certain areas, but that is not a regular part of our giving portal. We work to steward our resources wisely and are led by a Chapel Board that helps navigate those areas. If you have specific questions about areas or ministries within The Chapel that you would like to support, please reach out to us directly, email us at [email protected].
