PRELUDES Bill Evett
“Change My Heart, O God” Hymn 529
WELCOME Gary Wingo
“’How can anyone,’ said Nicodemus, ‘be born who has already been born and grown up? You can’t re-enter your mother’s womb and be
born again. What are you saying with this ‘born-from-above’ talk?’”
John 3:4 – The Message
“Rock of Ages, Cleft for Me” Hymn 463
MESSAGE Gary Wingo
“When ALL ‘MASKS’ Crash and Burn”
“Praise God from whom all Blessings Flow; Praise Him all creatures
here below. Praise Him above, ye Heavenly Hosts…
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost…Amen”
“O Worship the King” Hymn 24
Benediction Gary Wingo
“The Church should be a place where we can say anything and know
we won’t be kicked out, where we can confess our sins knowing
others will help us, where we can disagree and still be friends. It
ought to be the one place in the world where we don’t have to wear
masks. And, should that happen, the world – where phoniness is the
standard – will flock to our doors. WHY? Because FREEDOM,
genuine FREEDOM, is an attractive commodity.” -Steve Brown
*When ‘WEARING MASKS’ just doesn’t Work…
“Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, ‘Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with
Him.’” John 3:1-2 – Pg. 1650
“What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have Him, this Father of our Master Jesus Christ! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a BRAND-NEW LIFE and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole.”
I Peter 1:3-5 – The Message
When GRACE, INDEED, S ENOUGH – ETERNALLY!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”
John 3:16-18 – Pg. 1651
“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim GOOD NEWS to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim
FREEDOM for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed FREE…”
Luke 4:18 – Pg.1598
