Hey y’all. I say and type y’all so much that my phone predicts it and autocorrects it if I spell it wrong. I said y’all when I lived in Missouri . . . it just became more socially acceptable when I moved to Texas. I’m not totally sure how “y’all” is received in Florida, but I’m excited to find out. Y’all is the second-person plural

We are people who generally want more. Time. Money. Influence. Power. In Genesis, we see Adam and Eve created in the image of God. They are like God, made by God, and have the breath of God in them. They are given the power to create and responsibility to steward creation. These new God-like creatures fall for something that is not God out of a desire for more. The serpent tempts them
Authority and Egypt
It’s funny what we let control us. We think we know what is good for us, but if we aren’t careful, we will give authority over ourselves away. We buy phones believing they are made to serve us, yet if we aren’t careful, we serve them. We respond to their every need. We have given the phone authority over us. We likely give lots of things unearned authority
Announcing Our New Pastor!
Dear Friends of the Chapel at Seaside, On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce that Andrew Beard will be our new Pastor. Andrew and Sarah Beard, along with their two sons, Foster (8) and Keating (7), are from Dallas, Texas, which has been their home the past ten years. Andrew is presently the associate minister at Highland Park United Methodist Church. For
