*OFFERTORY/DOXOLOGY

Hosanna” Hymn 135

Benediction Gary Wingo

A PRAYER…

Lord Jesus, what was in Your Heart as You rode into Jerusalem? What was on Your mind, Your thoughts? As we begin Holy Week, May we be good companions to You on Your Journey of Love. Thank You for the depths to which You were willing to go in order to love us…in Your name, Lord Jesus Christ, the Risen One…”

NOTES

CELEBRATION: “The ROAD HOME…”

The Disciples went and did as Jesus instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches and spread them on the road. The crowds went ahead of Him and those that followed shouted:

Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes

in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the Highest Heaven!’

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, ‘Who is this?’” Matthew 21:6-10 – Pg. 1535

CELEBRATION: “Who? Why?”

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.  But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8 – Pg. 1750

CELEBRATION: For You…and Me”

My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in US so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.  I have given them the GLORY that You gave Me, that they may be One as WE are One…”

John 17:20-22 – Pg. 1680
