Healing Through Brokeness

Healing Through Brokeness

The Chapel at Seaside

Sunday – November 10, 2019 – 10:00 AM

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your
heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is
with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your
mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

“Step by Step” Hymn 480

WELCOME Gary Wingo

“The Lord is close to the Brokenhearted and saves those who are
crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 – Pg. 869

“Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing” Hymn 98

MESSAGE Gary Wingo

“Praise God from whom all Blessings Flow; Praise Him all creatures
here below. Praise Him above, ye Heavenly Hosts…
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost…Amen”

“There Is a Redeemer” Hymn 279

Benediction Gary Wingo

“Your most profound and intimate experiences of worship will
likely be in your darkest days – when your heart is broken,
when you feel abandoned, when your out of options, when the
pain is great – and you turn to God alone.” -Rick Warren

*When ‘Honestly…”You just don’t know what to do…”
“A man named Jarius, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus’ feet,
pleading with Him to come to his house, because his only daughter, a
girl about twelve, was dying…” Luke 8:41-42 – Pg. 1609

“They laughed at Him, knowing that she was dead. But He took her by
the hand and said, ‘My child, get up!’ Her spirit returned, and at once
she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her
parents were astonished, but He ordered them not to tell anyone what
had happened.” Luke 8:53-56 – Pg. 1610

When FAITH becomes REAL…
“Then Jesus said to her, ‘Daughter, your FAITH has healed you. Go in
Peace.” Luke 8:48 = Pg. 1610

“Therefore, since we have a great High Priest who has ascended into
Heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the FAITH we
profess. For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize
with our weaknesses, but we have One who has been tempted in every
way, just as we are – yet did not sin. Let us then approach God’s
Throne of GRACE with confidence, so that we may receive MERCY and
find GRACE to help us in our time of need.”
Hebrews 4:14-16 – Pg. 1865
