MESSAGE Gary Wingo

ADVENT LOVE: Filling Empty Places”

Joy to the World! The Lord Is Come” Hymn 181

Benediction Gary Wingo

Only the one who has experienced it can know what the LOVE of Jesus Christ is. Once you have experienced it, nothing else in the world will seem more beautiful or desirable.” Brennan Manning

LOVE = “Standing Still”

Long before He laid down earth’s foundations, He had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of His LOVE, to be made whole and holy by His love. Long, long ago He decided to adopt us into His family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure He took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of His lavish gift-giving by the hand of His beloved Son.” Ephesians 1:3-6 – The Message

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside QUIET WATERS, He RESTORES my soul…” Psalm 23:1-3a

LOVE = “Filling Empty Places with God’s LOVE”

“…that you may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the LOVE of Christ, and to know this LOVE that surpasses knowledge—that you may be FILLED to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Ephesians 4:18-19 – Pg. 1818

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil – my cup overflows.” Psalm 23:5

LOVE = “Joyfully Give MERCY to Others!”

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.” I John 4:11 – Pg. 1902

Surely GOODNESS and MERCY shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Psalm 23:6
