Rock of Ages, Cleft for Me” Hymn 463

NOTES

IN TIMES LIKE THESE? “PRAY WITH HONESTY”

This is what the Lord says: ‘Stand at the Crossroads and look; ask for the Ancient Paths, ask where the Good Way is, and walk in it, and you will find REST for your souls.’” Jeremiah 6:16 – Pg. 1183

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by PRAYER and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God…” Philippians 4:6 – Pg. 1827

IN TIMES LIKE THESE? “Set My ‘EYES’ on JESUS CHRIST!”

“…let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, FIXING OUR EYES ON JESUS, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2 – Pg. 1875

Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but OUR EYES ARE ON YOU.” II Chronicles 20:12 – Pg. 697

IN TIMES LIKE THESE? “SHOW UP!”

Moses answered the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. THE LORD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU, YOU NEED ONLY TO BE STILL.’” Exodus 14:13-14 – Pg.107

This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. FOR THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS, BUT GOD’S. Tomorrow march down against them…”

II Chronicles 20:15-16a – Pg. 697
