The 4th ADVENT: “LOVE”

The First Noel” *(1st Verse Only) Hymn 180

WELCOME Gary Wingo

We can see that it was while we were powerless to help ourselves that

Christ died for sinful people. In human experience it is a rare thing for

one person to give his life for another, even if the latter be a good man,

though there have been a few who have had the courage to do it. Yet

the proof of God’s AMAZING LOVE is this: that it was while we were

sinners that Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8 – Phillips

Joy to the World” Hymn 181

MESSAGE Gary Wingo

creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye Heavenly Hosts…

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost…Amen”

Angels We Have Heard on High” Hymn 184

Benediction Gary Wingo

God whispers [to us], ‘No mess turns Me back; no smell turns Me off.

I live to live IN a life like yours. Every heart can be a manger. Every

day can be a Christmas!” –Max Lucado

LOVE is patient and kind. LOVE is not jealous or boastful or proud or

rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and LOVE

keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice

but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. LOVE never gives up, never

loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

LOVE lasts forever!” I Corinthians 13:4-8 NLT

God loved us so much that He sent His One and Only Son, that whoever

believes in Him will never die but have everlasting Life. God didn’t send

His Son into this world to condemn us, but that through Him we may be

saved through Him.” John 3:16-17

When the set time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a

woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we

might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are His sons and

daughters, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who

calls out, ‘Abba, Father.’ So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child;

and since you are His child, God has made you also an heir.”

Galatians 4:4-7 – Pg. 1810

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of

Compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our

troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort

we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the

sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.”

II Corinthians 1:3-5 – Pg. 1792
